Grants
On August 19, the North East Wisconsin Riders ATV club received an $800 community improvement grant from Thrivent Financial. The funds are intended to supplement the clubs ATV trail construction costs to link the Village of Coleman with the Village of Pound. Since the club’s initial opening of its first ATV trail in June of this year, community response has been overwhelming. The club has received donations from 23 local businesses, personal donations from community residence as well as construction equipment usage. The club would like to especially thank Dorothy Kamenski, librarian at the Coleman Library, for her help in applying for the Thrivent Financial grant.
