Usually if you are without facilities, there are common sense rules like not digging your toilet near a water source. If you are not comfortable squatting in front of people, Bring a small tarp to shield the view. An umbrella works well for this. If you are car camping or not carrying your gear far, you might consider a portable toilet seat that a sealable plastic bag attaches to. They are inexpensive and found in Walmart or ***** sporting goods, stores like that. You can also use a branch or two set across logs as a seat, and dig a cat hole under it. Also, while you are at walmart, go to the toiletries section and pick up a roll of toilet paper made for camping, they are in a plastic container that seals out weather, and have no hole in the middle, so it packs small.
